On Friday the first grade children had a special invitation to visit the Bishop at his home in St. Pölten. They were all very excited about the trip. First, they had a tour of the Cathedral in St. Pölten with information on its long history and amazing artefacts. We were all warmly welcomed into the Bishops' home for morning drinks and snacks. The children had the opportunity to ask lots of interesting questions to the Bishop about his life. The Bishop also asked the children about school life and was obviously impressed by the song the children sang for him in English and their ability to switch between languages so comfortably. After finishing morning snacks at the Bishops home, the children went to the Hippolythaus for lunch. They all impressed the Bishop again with their ability to eat all the chocolate with drinks in his home and then a huge number of frankfurters. Fully fuelled, the children raced up to the top of the sound tower by the Traisen, then raced to fill the last space in their tummies with Bubble tea in the city.
