The students of the JHS-Göttweig were able to experience how nature works at a nearby pond. Not only the food cycle in standing water was discussed both in biology lessons and on site. The students were also confronted with the topic “We take care of our nature” in religious instruction. How do we treat our nature with respect? What can we do to ensure that the animals and plants in this water are not threatened with extinction? The water quality was examined with the help of water samples. Different animals of different sizes were also discovered and observed. All of these activities were accompanied by glorious weather and the students at the ISK JHS-Göttweig obviously had a lot of fun.
