In the second week of school, the 4th grade students went on hiking trip experiencing one of their main topics 'Niederösterreich' in social studies first hand. By train they set off to Weißenkirchen where they went on a trail with a excellent view called 'Panoramaweg Achleiten'. On their trip they saw historic villages, vinyards, stone terraces and woods. Everything that makes the Wachau special. They had great view points at Rossatz and Dürnstein and got to know many speacial playes at this UNESCO world heritage site.  They kids had a great time, in particular because it is time spent together.
